The GeneConvene Academy is an online learning platform created to promote understanding of genetic approaches for controlling public health, as well as agricultural and environmental pests. As a component of the GeneConvene Virtual Institute, a knowledge hub for information on genetic biocontrol technologies, the Academy offers interactive mini-courses and other training resources for anyone wishing to learn about genetic biocontrol or to refresh and expand their knowledge on the subject.

Knowledge sharing and capacity strengthening within stakeholder communities are core activities of the GeneConvene Global Collaborative, which aims to advance best practices and informed decision making for the development of biocontrol technologies to improve public health.
